Ok, a quick rundown of loose ends that you may need to deal with at the point of the other threads closure. Assume that actions are successful for the most part (the exception may be 5 or 7) but you need to describe your responses.
1) Lots of injured soldiers outside the city 2) Lots of injured people inside the city 3) Several fires at various points in the city 4) The slightly bruised Falon Dinan 5) The rather seriously injured Bukola Sesseryn 6) The very dead and messy Zheng Walusimo 7) The mysteriously missing Slavion Ysa 8) The threatening and restless Dalph 9) The impending arrival of Malukan reinforcements and the associated problems of no border defenses and no regulation on the previously heavily monitored general population outside the city

Should this be OOC?
See aftermath for attempts at (2), (3), and an attempt at starting (8)

possibly. we had the same problem with another thread. where it's basically an OOC description of IC actions.

I now consider 3 more or less dealt with.
2 will likely be ok, though the problem may be convincing azir that it's worth keeping people alive. since it'd be easier to reduce the size of the population that Maluka has to support at this point.
8 is basically dealt with on the Malukan end. Dalph still needs to be talked to.

Will provide detailed responses for Azir tonight - don't think I'm going to be able to post much more during day. Blasted work

no problem.
FYI i'd like to move back to the model that PBP is mostly for narrative time rather than action or dialogue heavy scenes, now that we've dealt with the major issues of Maluka. we'll do some of the detail, but i'd rather just have people summarise their actions in response to these points than deal with each one in the now rather jumbled threads we were using before.
anything further should either happen here or in 'Cold Light of Day'.

I loved the three twisting threads - I thought it really did capture the feeling that things were playing out in different theatres But yeah, will do summaries for follow up later. Ideally, Azir is going to keep his Solar-status (and association with Kairos) hidden for as long as he can get away with it.

O - Kairos will try to detain Azir before he sweeps out in order to get him to attend to Bukola. Will it work?
How long does your limit break last? Are we technically in a different scene?
BSR - I assume you meant that (9) will be dealt with?

Man, a lot can happen on the forum when you can’t get on it for a day. Thank god for days off. Ok, here is what is happening with me.
Grey Wolf spends the evening watching the celebrations from out side the city. It appears his allies have been successful in there negotiations. Now is the time to decide the next plan of action. [question: how many of the men have now joined my ranks and how many prisoners do we have left]
Realising that Dalph is getting restless Grey Wold decides to go and talk to him.
" Dalph my friend, it appears the fighting is over for a time, but that does not mean our work is done. I suggest you prepare the men to move out. The boarders will need defending and I feel you are the right man for the job. I will send a message to Kairos asking him to send word officially from the council for you to go with the prisoners we have to defend the boarders from outside attacks. If it comes through as an official order the soldiers should obey. I will return when we have word. I assure you, there will be battles to be had."
After this he sends an infallable messenger to Kairos: "Kairos, Dalph is getting impacient. I suggest you send an official messenger with signed orders for the soldiers to travel out with Dalph and defend the boarders. We can send the prisoners and he could go under the banner of Maluka, drawing in the reinforcements as he goes." [question: is there a charm which could make a group of soldiers instant recognise a banner and stop them fighting before they get into battle?]
Grey Wolf takes a tour of the men, seeing how many are injured. He hopes that Azir will come and tend the men soon, even if it is in some sort of disguise. This much death is just unacceptable from his strategic perspective. He also considers how he could hire field medics to join the men. [what resource cost would this be and how difficult would the be to find]
Turning to his Dire Wolf, Grey Wolf speaks in a low, gruff voice. "Now it finally begins". With that he walks through the throng of me towards his command tent to await a response.

LH - Limit break will last one full day (so until late afternoon on the following day)
Azir will pause momentarily before agreeing, asking Kairos to bring the body to a suitable bedchamber then asking that he stays to attend. In theory we should play out the convo but I can summarise if preferred.

I was about to start talking to Azir IC then I remembered this. Perhaps we should stick to a summary, especially if our conversation would hold up resolution of this thread. What would Azir say to Kairos?
