I think I will drop the Gem of Quick Thought sadly.
LH, I was not quite sure I understood your post: Do Baneclaws have sockets? I've got two Baneclaws - are we ruling that only one of them has a socket? Since I've had to drop down to two hearthstones that would pretty much still work for me....
Also I just want to point out the awesomeness of this fact: For a seduction roll - Charisma+Socialise - If I spend 1 mote I have 14 dice, with an effective appearance of 7. Hells yeah.

That would be a much more effective insult if it didn't already appear on my character sheet - under concept.

I know! That's why I said it Otherwise I'd have chosen something a little more incisive...

How in the Nine Hells do you manage that? And I think someone is looking for Malcanthet* to come a-calling... *demon queen of succubi and temptation in my D&D campaign

O: For your 2 dot artifact you can have 2 short daiklaves, one of which has a socket. If nothing else, you can give one of the spares to a somebody else, possible an officer in your force

(Psst, anybody willing to swap a spare sh/daiklave for a 1dot artifact chain shirt? ) BSR/BR - are you both taking Ally/Command at 2+ dots? Am still debating whether or not to do so at 1-dot.

Almost certainly not taking Ally, though I guess I might do. If we go into mass combat, my character will lead her own troops. Def. taking Command at least 2 tho.

Check my backgrounds on my sheet. I'm also intending to lead my own forces if it comes to it, but I want an ally too. A second in command or similar perhaps. Maybe a sorceror who can act from within the unit. Don't know if LH wants to stat up allies according to number of dots, or whether he'd like us to do it.

Alexelf's character sheet looks very cool but i have a couple of questions: Firstly Aspect: For all mechanical purposes, fire. For all appearance purposes, air can you do that? Secondly, was looking over the character sheets. And looking at how many bonus points each of us has spent, BSR:15, O:14, AE:20. I'm not sure this can be right. Edit: After adding up more numbers. notice O seems to have a mere 27 charms also.

AE has taken the reduced attribute flaw twice (his spread is effectively 7-5-5) entitling him to 21 BPs. We miscounted them (TBF, the sheet was made in a car).
As for the aspect thing, yes. Yes you can. If you're particularly interested in my reasoning, then here it is:
AE had very clear ideas about the feel of his character, which was air. Unfortunately, none of the abilities his character was good at were air abilities. Since this was his first time out as a DB and I didn't want to either punish him for having clear ideas about his character by making everything cost twice as much, or make him change his character I made the ruling. It's entirely superficial; it just changes the visual appearance of the character.
If you want to do it as well, I won't stop you.
