The last thing Slavion remembers is checking over some paper work, feeling a rush of air as though the wind was blowing, and then pain.
Now his sleep is being disturbed by the sound of a thousand voices all talking at once. The noise crescendoing until it almost hurts and then one simple command crystalises out of the babble.
Wake up, Slavion
Slavion opens his eyes and instantly wishes he hadn't. He is tied to a chair in well-lit but secure looking room. Standing around the room are a group of strange men, none of whom look particularly pleased. One of the men he recognises from the day of the battle as having appeared in several large projections of dazzling fire.

Raiden watches the prisoner intently, observing every nuance of body language, every slight variation in tone of voice, and every glimmer of a facial expression.
[Raiden activates judge's ear technique]
[NB: this may be completely unnecessary - I have no idea what Droning Suggestion does.]

[it makes anything I say count as unnatural mental influence. Mechanically, it means there is no limit to the amount of wp he can spend to resist my influence. Until, that is, he has none left at which point we've broken him.
That said, anybody with investigation will still do a much better job of questioning him at the moment so I suggest you go for it]

Within the boundaries of his peripheral vision, Slavion can just make out a shiny tray with what look like surgical instruments arranged meticulously atop it. The lamplight flickers across the scene, glinting off the sharp point of the syringe placed at the edge of the table. Leaning over to whisper solely to Raiden and Kairos, he murmurs, "I can patch up pretty much anything you care to do. Though we might want to take care if he is to actually stand trial. And I'm not sure a summary execution is actually going to be favourable at this point." [Might be useful if I tried making a truth serum ]

[Um. I feel sure that before the interrogation even starts Raiden will have been given a detailed briefing on, y'know, who this Slavion guy is and stuff.]

[The city was previously ruled by Manaas, who was a God-Blood (i.e. the son of a God, who therefore has some powers, though nothing like ours.
Manaas had a council of 6 directly under him. Of those 6, 2 were in his 'inner circle' and so had a little bit more knowledge about Manaas, including (we think) who his father was. One of those 2 killed himself rather than continue to rule without Manaas. The other one is Slavion, who escaped. The other 4 council members have continued to rule the city, having made a deal with us.
Now we have Slavion. He may have been the cause of the unrest that couldn't be explained from within the bureacracy. So we'll want to find that out. We may also be able to find out (a) who Manaas' father was and (b) whether Daddy's been interfering with the city in the last 2 weeks.
This is quite important as we think Manaas' father my have been a celestial God, which would suggest he was fairly powerful.

[Slavion was the councillor responsible for Citizenry. We'd also want to know if he has nefarious contacts outside of the kingdom I think]

Raiden nods his understanding at Azir, making sure Slavion can see his face. He pulls a chair over and sits down on it, back-to-front, so that he can lean over the back of the chair. He regards Slavion coolly over the rim of his crimson-lensed spectacles.
"Your Lord, Manaas, is dead. Your colleague, <name>, is dead. The rest of the council have capitulated. You know all this, of course. Your best chance in this situation is to answer our questions honestly and hope that we're feeling merciful."
He flicks his eyes for the briefest moments over to the table where the torture instruments are arrayed in neat rows, then returns his steady gaze to the man.
"There is no point in lying to us. We can hear your heart-beat, smell your sweat from fifty paces. If you lie, we will know.
To start with, you are going to tell me what the purpose of your little operation in <building> was."
[Not sure what I need to specify here in terms of mechanics. I'm going to assume relatively systemless unless someone says otherwise.]

[Yeah. That's the best way.]
Slavion looks deliberately at all 3 of you. He waits patiently, allowing a long silence. Then equally suddenly, he spits right into Raiden's face. A smirk creasing the corners of his mouth.

[Thing is Kairos could push his HSDD or Azir uses Hypnotic Tongue Technique or Irresistable Salesman Technique to make him a minion or carry on burning his wp...]
"Seriously Master Ysa, it really *is* in your best interests to listen to us." Azir turns his back on the disgraced councillor and makes to leave the room. "Call me if you have need of me. I'm not willing to stay if he's going to act so foolishly," he mutters as he takes his leave of his companions.

[this should really happen just before Blackrat's post, I think.]
Raiden's motion is a blur. Almost before the globule of spittle has left Slavion's mouth, he has sidestepped out of his chair. A moment later, the legs go out from under Slavion's seat, and Raiden looms over him. A split second later, the spittle lands harmlessly behind the space Raiden once occupied with a soft splattering noise.
"That was foolish."

"Ok, look. You know we can break you, right? Clearly we aren't fucking around here. So doesn't it make more sense for you to just tell us? It's not like we're asking anything difficult, or anything that's going to put you in any more trouble than you're in now. There's no point in being hostile, because, frankly, we're better at it than you are."
[Cha+Pres roll for genuine "We really don't want to do this" routine. BSR, lmk how you want to play this - i.e. whether I should roll or you, etc.]

[I'll roll where necessary.]
Slavion laughs uproariously at Fox's comment. And begins something of a tirade.
"Yes I imagine you can. You march into my city, bewitch my populace, kill my commander and friend, not to mention my SON and destroy everything in the world that matters to me and every hope and dream I've ever had. But by all means lets do this the easy way...."
He seems about to launch onwards, but pauses with a deep breath.
"It hardly matters. Do your worst, every action you take is further proof that the Dynasts are right about you. I suggest you end this quickly, for every moment I live I have devoted to opposing you."
