You won't get much more information until you get to the island. I like the idea that you will need to adapt existing characters to the strategies that present themselves, rather than just taking the utilitarian dot distribution. That's why I think a prelude discussion is useful - we can flesh out our chars a bit more by playing IC, without the dots. We can think IC about what resources the Ebon Legion would bring to bear given the lack of info, and only then assign the dots to make the answer "us". That may be true from your POV, but I don't think it's as simple as that - which is why we should collaborate beforehand (e.g. with a prelude). Because if someone does create that character, but the other two players create tanks, there's going to be a conflict of interest. Good points all. You can pick your artifacts but I may veto them unless certain 'donations' are received. |

Yeah. I think the issue is not that the dance troupe 'The Limp-Wristed Performing Beauracrats' would be any worse at the mission than the deadly commando trio 'Silent Death in Candle-Light'. But that one from each (along with the leading pilot in the 'Kamikaze Sorceror's Homemade Airship Squadron') would probably not accomplish the mission in the long run. Yeah, exactly. On an entirely unrelated note, I have three new ideas for Dragon-Blood one-offs and will be accepting sign-ups shortly. |
