Hey guys,
well personally I certainly think the first games evening was a big success. and I hope for more like it.
i am busy next thursday, and I presume most people aren't around the thursday following. so for the new year we need to organise a few things;
More gaming
Exalted
Star Wars
I have not yet made any plans, except for roleplaying on the 19th. so any other weekend is available for us to get our game on.

Games evening was good, even though I lost *every* game... But my anger only adds fuel to the fire that will destroy you all... next games evening! Next Thursday is good for me too. LH, you're free from Tuesday if I remember right and BSR, are you free during the day of the 19th? (I seem to remember you saying you were off all day) What about you O? BR? I quite fancy getting some BB on, haven't played tabletop in too long, and something BSR said last night got me thinking... Well, it was something he told me about, rather than my own thought. It was basically 'get people together, hold a draft for players, then play a mini BB tournament'. I'd love to do that one day before I'm off (either the 22nd or 23rd), and I believe we could work it with 4 people. If one person won all their games then it would mean they'd have to play 5 times and other scheduling problems might mean waiting, so we'd need a whole day for it, and I understand that everyone is busy so it might not be possible. It could even happen over two nights or a day and a night if we could find the time. Getting together over the weekend we could sort it out, then play then and in the week. The setup would be 8 teams straight knockout, with us taking 2 teams each. There might be a way of running it shorter (like a round robin and then a playoff) but 2 teams is more fun. Thoughts? LH, I like your Lunar idea. I think more episodic rping with preset characters would just work better for us right now. As for Exalted and Star Wars, the original set up we had going on of once a month for each is best, and I don't think unfeasible.

Yup, definitely enjoyable last night. Some lucky calls in Perudo though. Should be free pretty much all day Thurs as I'm hoping to get Wed & Thurs off. Can see if Ulrich fancies joining us as well. LH - lunar idea sounds good for a quick RP fix, so count me in. Unf, I'm away for NewYear's yet again, so if you guys want to get an Exalted session in early, Azir will have to be absent but am back on the 15th for future planning. Only occupied dates so far are the first two Saturdays (19th and 26th).

I take it the silence on the BB playing is a no?

So for now, we're looking at early afternoon Wednesday for gaming goodness. LH? O? BR?

Wednesday avo works for me. I'm up for bb is nothing else so keep it free, JD.
My plan for the lunars game is to try to get some regular rping back into our lives. I think our current rp campaigns are based around the sort of time we had at uni. I'm not sure any of us has the sort of time required for large campaigns, and they fizzle out.
For lunars, I'm after 3 players, who can commit 2-3 hours once a week, every week, for 4-6 weeks (can be negotiated). This can be on a Thursday, as part of weekly gaming, or on a Tuesday, so we can still participate in regular gaming?
O, I know you're in. When would you prefer? Who else wants some?

I cannot play anything between now and new year (7th Jan or after).
After that, I'm in for Star Wars and Golden Opportunity.
Lunars - extremely unlikely that I'll be able to commit to anything weekly, I think, so I'll pass on this one.
Other - I'm intending to start up a series of one-shots (or two-shots) at some point before the end of time, and I think that would suit us (or at least me, but possibly others) even better with regard to the level of time commitment, as discussed above. Watch this space - or rather, find something else to do to pass the time, because this space won't be filled any time soon. But be aware that it will be one day.

Re: Weds - not quite sure what my plans are for the afternoon/evening are now. I may be free, I may not - am waiting to hear back from someone so apologies for being flaky on that front. Re: Lunars - in view of keeping Thurs as a more inclusive games evening, I'd register a vote for Tuesday.

Jen and Aaron are both up for Lunars, which give us our 3 (there's also room for a 4th, which gives us the advanatage of being able to go ahead if somebody misses it. MDV has registered tentative interest).
Jen can't do Tuesday. Wednesday may work for everybody. If it was on a Thursday, I'd advocate a slightly earlier start (perhaps 6) so that we could be done and dusted sometime between 8 and 9, leaving us with plenty time to join the others.

I'm happy with Weds. Nominally, I don't have any fixed weekly commitments at present so I'm happy with any day other than Friday, really.

I'd be interested in Lunars but the weekly thing kind of puts me out, perhaps I could be involved in less regular appearances? Plus, Lunars!
So we're all in for tomorrow by the look of things. Where and when? I'm assuming the Sky whatsit some time after 1 or 2, but I don't want to show up all Madden-BB-ready and find out we're at LH's. Or O's. 'Cause I don't know how to find it.
