The debut game of the new league saw the Tanglewood Longshanks overwhelmed by brute force.
The Longshanks received in the first half and delayed the score at the endzone until turn 6. Nonetheless the Exiles found themselves easily able to evade the Longshanks defence thanks to an early fumble by the away side.
In the second half the weather turned rainy. The Longshanks struggled to recover from a series of knocked out players, and despite some brave attempts to steal the momentum the Exiles dominated, scoring twice.
The Exiles' assassin proved particularly effective, repeatedly removing Longshanks players from the pitch, while their flesh golem proved weirdly unable to knock anyone over.
