There seems to be some weirdness with how the forum is displayed. I keep getting a big gap between the first post on any given page and subsequent posts.
Is anyone else getting this?
Also, check out my post count. I'm such a whore. ;D ;D

It's an ad banner - something they seem to have implemented recently. Hopefully we'll be able to migrate before too long and scrap ad-crap. And yes, you're a post-whore. (Is that a post-modern whore? How does that work?)

Oh right yeah. I was meant to do that. 1 - 8/10 - I like this one a lot 2 - 7/10 - This ones pretty good too 3 - 4/10 - Not so much this one. Feels like it's missing something. 4 - Is still the same as 1 Will moving mean we lose our post counts?  And what will happen to all the old posts and stuff? |

Anyway, I need to restructure it a bit so that it actually goes along with your layout suggestion rather than just ignoring it entirely... But we can talk about what works and what doesn't. (e.g. I think a dark background works best, but I'm not sure why... Compare to e.g. Google, ebay, Amazon, etc. - all have pale backgrounds and seem to "work", visually.) Will moving mean we lose our post counts? And what will happen to all the old posts and stuff? Depends. I'd like to archive the stuff we've done here somewhere on the new site. The most satisfying way of doing it would be to manually copy them all in to the new forum. That would mean (a) it's all still in an active forum so can be quoted, replied to, etc. and (b) we keep post counts. However, this would take about a billion zillion years to actually do. If we just archive the text, then we will lose post counts etc. and it will probably all be static. |

I find light text on dark backgrounds hard to read.
What software are you using, BSR?
EDIT: I found the site. I prefer the colours on the front page (black on white) to any of the four listed ones.
