So now I have raised my essence I don't really know what to do next. I spent ages looking through the Sidereals book and nothing really jumped out at me. Things I do want are more spells and more dots in various places.
With a brief run down of the options currently available to me; The resistance tree doesn't interest me. The ride tree is kinda cool, but a familiar doesn't work that well with my whole craft-boy thing. The survival and sail trees are both dull. The thrown tree is ok, but not sure any of the charms are really that good. The pinnacle craft charm is ridiculously awesome. But is it worth the 5 mediocre charms on the way? Plus I would need more dots in craft. Investigation doesn't seem worth replicating BR's pinnacle charm, or the weird caste based one. Lore and occult both don't really appeal, plus would be kinda doubling up on others stuff also.
There are some cool spells out there, and I always want more dots in various places. Wondering if other Sidereal addicts had other cool ideas for where to go.

I'd say go for Craft stuff since that's the point of Icaron, right? And it was super-useful in the last case. Alternatively more combat would also be useful.

Spells are badass; go for them.
On which Charm tree to go for, ones that a) are good and b) I think would suit your character are Lore (I love the one where you dig things up) and Craft. Would work with the whole Q thing as well. I agree most of Craft is rather a huge speedbump, but that could be sorted via ST tinkerage. I'm pretty sure both trees avoid double-up as well.

Not sure I like the lore stuff, but if nooone else has it i might well consider it.
But yeah, I think craft may be the way to go. Don't think we should un speed bump it though. Have you looked at the top charm? it needs a speed bump.

It needs Charms that are required to get there, I agree, but they themselves shouldn't be useless.
Go Craft!

Ok, been looking through stuff again, and yes I think that Craft charms, Lore charms and Sorcery is the way forward.
Only a couple of the craft charms are useless, and I'm trying to find ways to make them less so. Which leads me handily to my next point, as I think that those two would make a nice combo with a certain spell I found in The White Treatise, which I now can't remember the name of helpfully.
Other spells I think would be cool, obviously Visions of the Distant Past. Another couple I saw last night are Dolorous Reflection (celestial level persistent semi-perfect defense and counterattack vs ranged attacks - handy since i tend to be flying around like a bitch) and Disguise of the New Face - an awesome disguise spell based off Craft(Fate), it's permanent until you chose to spend two motes to lose it, and it can even affect your anima (though sadly not remove it completely).
Which also means it is going to work very well when I buy a new craft charm which will give me a destiny planning specialty in "Non-Sidereal Exalted" and make Dragon Blood RDs for all of us.

Can you make RD's for other people? If so, yay!

I don't think you can - but you can certainly help other people make their own RDs, which I think is what BSR meant. (Since he's referring to the Craft-y, planning-y bits, which can be done by anyone.)
BSR, correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you are right, yes. IIRC I can't make the effect roll or the prayer roll put I can write a petition (on which I am guaranteed the 10 success for min difficulty on the prayer roll). And I can do some of the other supporting rolls.

I think my next purchase will be disguise of the new face then, cos I really like that spell. O will you let me know how long it will take to learn it and stuff?
