Since we could do all the discussion on the boards and it would save me, SH and U time and money to do the session at U's, could we keep it at U's? I ask 'cause there's somewhere I might want to be after the session. I can still make it there if we're at threespace (and the session only lasts 'til six), so no biggie if people have their heart's set, but it would kind of help me out.
Granted, the discussion would be slower, but there's quite a while 'til the next sessions.

eh... I feel like somebody punched me in the immune system. I'd rather avoid a sojourn to Three Space. Let's see how we get on here.
My concern was that although we did well, the creation party had three big old holds. We could have used a stealthy person, a straight up investigator, and a tech expert. All of our characters were pretty tight, but because we'd made them largely independently, there was a fair bit of overlap.
My original character concept would have had the tech and the investigation that we needed. I dropped him at the 11th hour because I was told that we lacked a bureaucrat, as did the heavenly party. I therefore rejigged Silent Sunset so at least one of the 6 of us had a bureaucrat. Whilst the new SS works quite well, he is basically Kairos-The-Sidereal. I'm not loving the fact that my only two exalted characters are the same, especially when Kairos-The-Solar only came about because of an 11th hour request for a social-meleeist.
BSR has said that they needed a bureaucrat in heaven to give their threats some teeth. As somebody else pointed out, though, all you really need is some connections or backing from the appropiate bureaus and a bureaucracy excellency in order to threaten people with audits and demotions. Only a very brave sidereal would use Terminal Sanction on an employee of heaven. So I think U has this covered.
On the other hand, you don't really need a tech expert in heaven. You have libraries, and the libraries of the Forbidden Manse of Ivy.
This means that part of our problems could be solved by swapping BSR and SH's characters. SH's performance charms are a lot more useful in heaven since they tend to apply to Gods. (she can, for instance, summon one of the transport clouds that travel at 500 miles an hour unsing Song of Spirit Persuasion). This would also mean that all 3 of the creation characters have some combat.
We then have a tech expert in creation. Of course, in this case, I'm left with Kairos Lite and we still are lacking stealth and investigation.

Icaron, from looking at his sheet, has adequate investigative abilities (excellency+efficient secretary), and since he's got a high lore he could easily expand into the crazy reading the future charms if we needed them and he wanted to. So he would cover the research/tech/investigation. That only really leaves the Creation team (if Icaron was moved there) needing stealth, social, maybe some tracking and utility sorcery, and both with a little combat capability. LH, you just go with what you want and then I'll fit Sorrel to whatever's left that we need.
Sound ok?
PS: Also, would everyone be ok with the group changing? I think SH wanted to remain in the Creation group for at least the next session, as she had stuff she wanted to do in Greyfalls (like, help out with the Solar-caused disaster).

I actually have investigation covered. It's only at 3 but it is favoured. I have an excellency and the spider answers a question charm.
Basically I think if I swap with SH, that should make the two party system work pretty well. As much as I was enjoying the stuff going down in heaven. The heavenly side of things would then be pretty set I feel - and it'd be up to them if they wanted to take more bureaucracy or not.
Then basically JD, we thought it might be worth you, me and LH having a triple threat redesign, possibly even shuffling castes around in order to achieve something that works. This wasn't so much for party design purposes as it was for enjoyment purposes, and because we knew you were planning to tweak Ennico anyway, and hence it opened up an opportunity for all of us to tweak a bit.
To be honest I am very happy with Icaron as written but I have at least one alternative concept that I'd be more than happy to play if it would lead to others having more fun too.

Heehee simul-post. And we kind of said the same stuff. Yeah, I think at least one more session of current groups is necessary, just cos of how plot ended up. Madden-age - around 6? I'll text when I'm leaving work to confirm.

How long does it take you to get back after work? It takes me over an hour to get to your place, so some minutes before you leave work might maximise Madden.
PS: Missed out bureaucrat/spirit specialist on the list of things we need for Creation.

no more than 45 minutes. my lesson finishes at 4 and i shouldn't need to hang around much today. if you head off at 4.30 i should definitely be home before you get there.

I believe LH was thinking about a stealth-athletics ninja battles type. Meaning if you were happy then you could take a social-bureacrat-ass kicking type endings. the latter should definitely take some occult to aid spirit dealings. alternatively i switch to the endings ass-kicking/taking-names. one of you takes on icaron adjusted to personal preference and we see how the battles then fits into that structure. dammit, i have to go teach a lesson. discussing roleplay on the forum is so much more fun though.
