Surely Monk 2/Druid 6 for the Wild Shape? That is probably what I mean, yes. Didn't bring the stuff I'd worked out into school with me.

So after discussion wiht O I am gonna go with a Monk 2 / Druid 6 Shifter. Not sure how well it will work yet, but it's gonna be interesting.
Also already very confused about how the different feats and abilities interact with each other.

Screw it. Can I book myself a slot on this?
Going to buy Eberron setting and gem up on my D20 knowledge. I.... I just like knowing about different rules and settings.

O has everything on PDF - the main DnD PHB 3.5 might be worthwhile if you can still find it, but Eberron cmapaign setting may not be so vital.

Well, we have our four then. I have everything in pdf. Not even sure if you'll be able to get the right books still given the move to 4E. PHB 3.5 might be hard to come by in FP, though Orc's Nest might still have copies. Same with Eberron book, given the 4E book is due soon.

I have books. LH you're welcome to my 3E copies (permanently) if you want them - they'll teach you most of the basics but aren't wholly up-to-date. You're welcome to borrow my 3.5E books but I may want them back at short notice Alternatively, I recommend eBay

Thanks, guys. I have the 3.5 PHB already. It's probably best if I borrow Eberron, given the 4E transition. Might try and nick you pdf copy, if that's ok, O?

As there doesn't appear to be a separate section for this, thought I would post that for my character I want to play a Dwarf Rogue 5 / Silver Key 3. Silver Key is a Dragon Marked House PrC for House Kundarak and can be found in the Dragon Marker book (p120). O, is this ok with you?

Silver Key is okay with me - always wondered how one of those would play out

So we have:
BSR - Monk/Druid GW - Rogue/Silver Key JHD - Warlock
... I can't really tell what we'd want for a party after that. BSR (with the Natural Spell feat) could easily fill both the tank and divine caster role, GW's got trap springing down, and I can sort of cover arcane blaster and bard (in the Bluffing and charming things sense). LH has the luxury of making the 4th party member in a D&D game, and being able to choose.
My world is over.

I reckon Tank would still be best.

I guess so. But you'll have hit points and AC coming out the wazoo in a suitable animal form, especially if you have any magical armour type spells. And my character isn't exactly flexible in his arcane-ness. Meh, I dunno.

That's the plan. :-)
Yeah, any type of flexible casting mojo would also work. :-)
