what's confusing? we're merely alluding to the larp game that anil is PCing. it's run by Ulric, and me and LH may or may not be involved in some undefined way or other. that clear enough?

So, shall I go ahead and issue an invite in the interests of balancing the teams?

I'd rather not. Three is the ideal number for this. The split has also been organised to that people with lots of experience of exalted are together, so they can run a quicker and potentially more complicated game.
As for team balance, I'd go with either 'it doesn't matter', or 'they don't know the rules so one extra is needed for balance' or even 'the fourth person isn't confirmed.

Okay then, I shall refrain from doing so.

A week on Thursday. I will be copying them out for myself so I'd like a little time

Due to availability issues we're reverting to plan A - one session; 4 characters including the Elf.
Which is just as well because you guys really need a social character.

You and Daniel need to agree on whether it's "silent duck" or "magic duck".

also, my next exalted social character is going to be called silent duck. All social actions to be carried out through the media of interpretative dance and/or mime? I'm now wondering if a mute diplomat is *only* viable in Exalted [high Performance + charms] (barring other societies that are purely visual or tactile in their primary interactions, of course)

he'd have some sort of flaw where he couldn't speak above a whisper, so could communicate to individuals, just, but yes large scale interaction would have to be mime!
though high level linguistics charms seem to be able to replicate telepathy....
