Every member of the Ebon Legion is dead. They were all head-hunted. They have all had funerals, been mourned, and some of them have been forgotten. Their families are noticeably richer for their passing. It’s one of the requirements for joining the Ebon Legion.

Every member of the Ebon Legion has done horrible things. They don’t ask why. Some of them enjoy doing them, others don’t. Either way, they do them because they know that some things need to be done. It’s one of the requirements for joining the Ebon Legion.

Nobody in the Ebon Legion has ever done anything like what you are about to do. Your latest orders consisted of a location and five words. Now you are travelling to Simenare, knowing that whatever horrible things you have already done, you are about to do something much, much worse.

I want to do a one-day session at some point in my Easter holidays (first two weeks of April for non-teachers), presumably during a weekend.

You will be powerful dragon bloods; members of aThe Ebon Legion, a taskforce under the direct control of The Bronze Faction. Your job do the things that the Bronze Faction want done, but would rather Dynastic Society as a whole didn't know about.

In this case, the thing in question is the complete destruction of Simenare and everybody on it. Simenare is a small island to the South West, near the Wavecrest Archipelago, with a current population of 3,000. It has recently been the subject of a failed social experiement by the lunar Ten Stripes. Unfortunately, the exact nature of Ten Stripe's failure means that the islanders have turned to Yozi-worship, and the island is now fated to become an outpost of The Lintha - literally demonic pirates. The island is too close to civilized society to allow this to happen. For the greater good, the islanders must be destroyed, and the island rendered uninhabitable.

Character-creation rules aren't final, but expect them to be based around BSR's awesome Golden Opportunity template. Power level is high, but balanced. Character's will be made by PCs.

Sounds a bit scary! But I'm in, in principle. Can't commit for sure until we've got an exact date and are a bit nearer to it. Is that ok?

Yeah. I figure that once we have enough people (I'm thinking 2-4 although if there were more we could sort something out) we'll find a date that works for everyone.

Alexelf has confirmed. He shall be an air-aspected savant-spy from House Ledaal.

Fortunately, he shall complement Cobalt, rather than be exactly the same as him. He prefers to simply stroll into a building as though he owns it, and do his spying from inside. Hence big on socialise and bureacracy, not so much on stealth. The only significant overlap of charms is in larceny. Also knows sorcery, rather than thrown.
