Dunno if anyone has seen, but WW are doing an offer whereby you send them your copy of the D&D 3.5 Player's Handbook and they'll send you the Exalted Core Book in return! They're also using the tagline "Graduate Your Game"

That's pretty daft. Also surely should be illegal??
Especially daft since they allowed Monte Cook to publish a World of Darkness D20 rulebook...

Ooh, I was thinking of buying the Monte Cook thing. Is there something I should know?

Well, Monte's been more or less a freelancer since the death of AD&D and particularly Planescape. I know he did some early 3E work for Wizards but he also set up Green Ronin Publishing IIRC.

Yeah, fair enough. But nonetheless, if they discourage people from playing D20 their WoD D20 book isn't going to sell as well.
CS - I don't know what the book's like. If you get it I'd be interested to take a look. I'm quite a fan of WoD proper, though, and I'm not convinced that D20 is a better way to run it.

Ohhh, d20. My main interest was that the monte cook book (he he, cook book) appeared to be doing what I'd hoped Vampire: the Requiem would do, to whit, running vampire in a post-apocalyptic setting. Much cooler than V:tM.

Ah. No, I think it's just D20 rules for the standard WoD setting. You should write a post-apoc version tho
