In the rules: three of the Evocations of Transfigurations can be made permanent with a WP point. The other two, Mimic and Doppelganger, can only last a few rounds.
House rule: Mimic and Doppelganger can be made to last an hour with WP.

More on Transfigurations:
Clothes can be produced with Doppelganger and Shapechange without difficulty. They can't with Mimic. The other two can, with difficulty: Alter Shape can make you seem to be wearing clothes with one success for skin-tight lycra up to three successes for loose clothing. An additional success is needed to get the texture right. Alter Appearance can produce the colour of clothes with one success for uniformly coloured suits, or up to three for shirts with lots of writing on.
Mimic changes your mannerisms and voice. The difficulty of the roll to realise something's amiss depends on how similar you are to the victim in other respects: if you're twice their height and the wrong colour it'll be easy to realise you're not them to onlookers. You still get to roll, though, 'cause it's magic.
A combination of Alter Appearance and Alter Shape can perfectly mimic someone's appearance if you've had a reasonably good look at it. Getting the face right requires an additional one to three successes on top of those for build, height etc. Changing apparent sex takes one each for the primary and secondary sexual organs, and an extra one for the face.
