Someone remind me what the four breeds are:
East - Raptok - Lithe and Fast
North - Pterok - Clever and Flying
West - Mosok - Aquatic and Hardy
South - Anklok - Loud and Strong
What do we have so far? Luke - Pterok LH - Pterok JD - Raptok

Thanks for the info.
Character sounds good, but the hatchlings won't be possible. You'll be waking up after years and years in stasis with just the other PCs for comapny. The entire rest of your domain/life is an unknown quantity.

Erm, why can't you have put the hatchlings in stasis, assuming you could find enough tubes?
Also, 'just the other PC's for company'? Do we all know each other, and are we from Rathess?

yes. sorry. should have been clearer. this is the plot of the campaign:
You were a half-dozen of the most powerful, intelligent and accomplished Dragon Kings in Rathess. Leaders of your people, renowned throughout your corner of the world. You had lived the usurpation and the shogunate. Using the power of the Orrery you alone in all creation had predicted the Great Contagion, the sidereals and the terrestrials would not listen to your warnings, for they could not read the same fate in the stars. The council of Dragon Kings was convened and you debated for many days. Some trusted the Exalts and chose not to do anything, the fates you had read must be wrong. They would continue the Dragon King reign in Rathess.
You were the cabal that chose the other direction. You chose stasis. As the leaders, as the most important you were given the deepest, most well protected stasis chambers. Of course a great horde of Dragon Kings followed you, though more followed the others. Chambers of stasis pods were created to hold your many followers. You were supposed to be woken in 20 years after the cataclysms you had read in the stars had faded. You oversaw the arrangements for your courtiers and servants, your hatchlings and proteges. Then as the few remaining leaders of the movement you said your goodbyes to the other Kings of your people.
You sealed the final stasis chamber behind you. The huge door of orichalcum and jade swingin shut behind you. The chamber was as well decorated as any throne room, your surroundings lush and opulent. You laid yourselves to rest in your stasis chambers. Secure that in a mere two decades you would awaken, and though the world might have suffered you could return to your rightful station and duties.
Time does not pass in the stasis chambers, and yet many of you have troubled dreams in your years of sleep.

So yeah, that is stuff to bear in mind while creating characters. Probably should have mentioned it earlier. Twould be super-cool if within the group there was a character who was adept at controlling the orrery. It's basically sidereal astrology except easier and more reliable. And someone who was an expert in Dragon King crystal technology as well, cos that's what the stasis chambers use.

I think I might play a savant of sorts. Let me re-read DK first.

Awesome. Remember one of the minimums is in the Background:Savant which is essentially just extra dice to operate/figure out any first age technology.

I'll know a bit of crystal technology and have the third path of the earth-crafty one... Can I just spend the bonus points and get Hatchlings after I wake up? And does that mean I can't have a familiar either (woe alas), there are going to be few opportunities in game for me to pick up a clawstrider mount, I can just tell. We are gunna be so cool!

A familiar might be possible - assuming it's one that can fit in a stasis tube with you. They're will be opportunity to pick this kind of thing up once we're out in the world again. You don't need to spend BPs on it, just let me know what you are looking for and I will attempt to provide opportunities for you to find it. Though they may not be obvious

Shhh Olaf just doesn't want to die in prison.
I want babies... I'd planned them all out. weeble. Still...there are lots wondering around out and about aren't there? I wanted a very big, rideable familiar to make the most out of having lots of survival...preferably one that eats people, so I fear not. I was thinking a Clawstrider or a T-rex thing, hehe. Do we get the original 25 bonus points+60 more? Because that would be amazing... *beams hopefully*. And i'm going to train babies to gnaw off Olaf's face.

yep to 25+60. and it may increase from there.
as too familiars and hatchlings, they will have to be acquired through roleplay. though i think it shouldn't be too hard for you to do that. sorry to prevent concepts, but as you can see i have a pretty concrete idea about how the game will start.

If she has babies she'll only cry when they die. Which they will.
Why do you want a mount? You're a DRAGON KING.
