3 weeks between sessions is too long for a fix of geekery.
Is anybody up for a regular weekly games session on a night in the middle of the week? It needn't be roleplay (unless someone wants to commit to weekly planning) but just meeting up for some boardgames and computer games would give me some socialising to look forward to each week, which is no bad thing.
It will also stop me working every night, which is also long overdue. As long as we have at least 2 people showing up a week then it's worth doing. If we get lots then we can just have more than one game going.
More importantly, we can totally use this to get more people to sign up to The Gazebo. Jen and Aaron will be ours!
Who's potentially in?

I would be in in theory, but I don't really see it happening. Sigh.

Potentially. There are also regular board games nights at my work, to which outsiders are welcome, but in practice I hardly ever end up going to them as something else always comes up.

Not wanting to add fuel to the clearly negative fire that's going on here, but travel costs will be a problem for me. Though I'll be in London over December and so will definitely be up for geekery then. And WLD requires no planning on my behalf, is easily adjusted for more or less players and can be stopped at pretty much anytime.

Yeah, I'd be up for something like this. I miss the weekly games evening we used to have at uni - 15ppl ensconced in someone's room in Robinson playing anything from Settlers to Illuminati

I believe that was the plan. Daniel is also in, tho he is annoyed because he can't make tonight or next week.

Aaron is in. Jen probably is.
How're Thursdays? It'll be easier to keep it on the same night every week, I figure.

Thursdays are usually good for me. Picked up Guillotine (an old favourite) in Orc's Nest a couple of weeks ago. They had run out of Fluxx though

Will there be one of these sessions going on on 13th December? I'll be in London then, and it's a Thursday.

SkyHouse appears to be out but I can host in New Cross if folk are willing to bring games over.
Can supply poker/Guillotine/ordinary cards/flatmate's Xbox360.
